Cheri Riddle, Administrator
Thank you, thank you, thank you, I have received the warmest welcome from all the residents, families and employees since my arrival at Avalon on March 13th. I am very excited to begin our new journey at Avalon and getting to know everyone. I come to Avalon with 13 years of experience in Senior Living, I have discovered that working with seniors is my passion in life. I love the gratification from making a resident smile, assisting a resident with a daily task and knowing I have made a resident’s day easier. I live in Monroe Wisconsin with my husband Jim. I am very blessed with three children Rylee who is 19 and two bonus children Matthew 30 and Nicole 28. In December, we welcomed our first granddaughter Willow, who has stolen our hearts. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, reading and traveling. I look forward to getting to know each of you in the upcoming weeks and helping Avalon succeed.
Jolene Lucas, Sales & Marketing Director
Jolene prefers the friendlier nickname of "Jo". She is delighted to have joined the Avalon team as the Sales and Marketing Director and says she looks forward to a fun and exciting future with the residents and staff of Avalon. Jo has worked in the healthcare field since the mid 1980's. Her desire has always been to make a positive impact for those she serves every day. Jo says when all is said and done, it is often the residents and families have a positive impact on her, which is a great motivator to go above and beyond to be the best she can be. Prior to joining the Avalon Team, Jo worked in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Home Care, and Hospice in the greater Madison area. She is an Iowa girl who moved to Wisconsin after college. Jo and husband, Randy now call Lake Mills their home. They have 2 grown children, but don’t consider themselves "empty nesters" yet thanks to their array of wonderful pets.
Nicole Guichard, Activities Director
Nicole is pleased to be the new Activities Director at Avalon. When she started working in a skilled nursing facility, she fell in love with the residents and the job. She enjoys working side by side with the residents and sharing her talents as an artist. She has been painting glass, wood, and metal for the past 13 years. Nicole grew up in Chicago, but moved to Wisconsin when she was 16, so she is nearly a native. In her spare time, Nicole loves to paint and garden. She is eager to get to know the residents of Avalon and enhance their social enjoyment.
